Loading Cargo at Nordlaks

Important Notice for Loading Cargo
- Ensure the truck’s cargo compartment is refrigerated to below 4 °C before loading begins
- The driver must be present to supervise the loading process.
- The driver is solely responsible for securing the cargo and for any claims arising from insufficient load restraint during transport.
- The driver must sign the consignment note.

Waiting for Your Cargo
While you wait for loading, feel free to use our new driver facilities:
Access: Register at the entrance to gain entry to the waiting area.
Kitchen & Seating: Two fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable seating area.
Laundry: Washing machines and dryers are available to refresh your clothing.
Hygiene: Toilets and showers are provided for your convenience.
❅ Winter Conditions
All trucks loading at Nordlaks during the winter season may be inspected to ensure compliance with Norwegian road‐safety regulations:
- Tyre tread depth
- Winter tyres
- Snow chains
Nordlaks reserves the right to refuse loading for vehicles that do not meet these requirements. Non-conformities will be reported to the transport company, organiser and customer as appropriate.
Note: Two-axle trucks will not be loaded between 15 November and 31 April. This policy has been communicated to all customers and logistics partners ahead of the winter season.
